Resuscitation and Knowledge Transfer and Exchange - Competition Results 2010

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, in partnership with the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health, is pleased to announce the results of the Resuscitation and Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Strategic Initiative.

The goal of this initiative is to fund research that explores how present and proposed policies, strategies, tools, training approaches, legislation or guidelines relating to knowledge transfer of resuscitation science influence the uptake of knowledge by lay-rescuers and/or first responders. The results of the research should lead to the development of new or improved knowledge transfer policies, mechanisms, and/or tools that will help improve survival outcomes from sudden cardiac arrest and ultimately, reduce disability and death among Canadians.
