The Coalitions Linking Action and Science for Prevention (CLASP) is an initiative led by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. CLASP aims to improve the health of communities and Canadians by bringing together organizations from various provinces and territories, forming coalitions to prevent chronic diseases. The initiative responds to the fact that many aspects of healthy living and a healthy environment can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, lung disease, and heart disease.
